zminer-gpu 0.1.3 for Windows (64-bit) - SCDO Classic Shard1 GPU pool miner
==========================================================================

WHAT IT IS
----------
zminer-gpu mines SCDO (zpow) on an NVIDIA graphics card and sends shares to
the SCDO Classic Shard1 pool. The SCDO network has been running since 2021.
The 30x30 determinant work runs on the GPU; every share is checked again on
the CPU before it is submitted, so the pool only receives verified shares.

  Pool (Shard1): stratum+tcp://82.223.19.88:3341
(zminer-gpu takes it as -pool 82.223.19.88:3341)
  Reward method: PPLNS
Payouts: about every 10 minutes, minimum payout 1 SCDO
Pool fee: tiered by hashrate - 5% below 5 kH/s,
                   3% from 5 kH/s, 1% from 50 kH/s

CPU miners are welcome on the same pool, and CPU and GPU mining can run side
by side on one PC.

Files in this folder:
  zminer-gpu.exe the miner (version 0.1.3)
zpowdet.dll CUDA kernel library used by the miner
cudart64_12.dll NVIDIA CUDA runtime 12.8 (see LICENSE NOTE below)
start-shard1.bat launcher - edit one line, then double-click
  README.txt / README-zh-TW.txt

REQUIREMENTS
------------
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- An NVIDIA GPU with a recent driver that supports CUDA 12.8
(driver version 570 or newer). RTX 50 series (Blackwell) is supported.
- About 700 MiB of free GPU memory per miner window
- A SCDO Classic Shard1 wallet address for payouts, from the SCDO desktop
wallet. Shard1 addresses start with 1S01 and are 42 characters long.

Tested on an RTX 5060 Ti: about 175-210 kH/s in continuous pool mining (batch 8192), about 700 MiB VRAM per instance.
Your results depend on the card, driver and system.

QUICK START (3 STEPS)
---------------------
1. Extract the whole ZIP to a folder (for example C:\zminer-gpu).
Do not run it from inside the ZIP. Keep all files together.
2. Right-click start-shard1.bat > Edit (or open it with Notepad) and change
   this one line:
       set "ADDRESS=<YOUR_SHARD1_ADDRESS>"
to your own Shard1 address, keeping the quotes. Save the file.
3. Double-click start-shard1.bat.

The launcher runs:
  zminer-gpu.exe -pool 82.223.19.88:3341 -user <YOUR_SHARD1_ADDRESS> -worker %COMPUTERNAME% -device 0

IS IT WORKING?
--------------
At start you should see:
zminer-gpu 0.1.3 - SCDO Classic zpow GPU pool miner
zpow self-test OK (real shard1 block verified)
GPU device 0: NVIDIA GeForce ...
  GPU/CPU cross-check OK (4 nonces x 2 heights, bit-exact vs zp.Det)
  ... logged in to 82.223.19.88:3341 as <address>.<worker>
  ... new job ... height=... share_diff=...
Every 15 seconds a summary line is printed, for example:
  ... hashrate 248000 H/s | batch 8192 | NVIDIA GeForce ... | accepted 12 rejected 0 dropped 0 blocks 1 | up 3m0s
"accepted" should keep going up. "BLOCK accepted by pool!" means your GPU
found a block for the pool. A few rejected (stale) shares around block
changes are normal. Lines starting with {"type":"status" ...} are a
machine-readable status for tools and can be ignored.

PAYOUTS
-------
The pool uses PPLNS: each block reward is shared among recent shares.
Rewards are credited once a block is confirmed (12 confirmations), minus
the pool fee. Payouts are sent to your Shard1 address about every 10
minutes once your balance reaches 1 SCDO. Check your balance in the SCDO
desktop wallet.

STOPPING
--------
Click the miner window, type stop and press Enter (clean stop), or press
Ctrl+C, or simply close the window.

MORE THAN ONE GPU
-----------------
Run one window per GPU. Copy start-shard1.bat (for example to
start-shard1-gpu1.bat) and change set "DEVICE=0" to 1, 2 and so on.

TROUBLESHOOTING
---------------
- Windows SmartScreen / antivirus warning: zminer-gpu.exe is not code-
signed, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" or an antivirus
may flag or quarantine it (mining software is often flagged). Check the
SHA256 first (see below); if it matches, click "More info" > "Run anyway",
or add the folder as an exception in your antivirus.
- "CUDA driver version is insufficient for CUDA runtime version" or
"no CUDA device": install the latest NVIDIA Game Ready / Studio driver
(570 or newer) from nvidia.com and reboot.
- "zpow GPU library not found" or "LoadLibrary ... zpowdet.dll": extract
the whole ZIP and keep zminer-gpu.exe, zpowdet.dll and cudart64_12.dll
  in the same folder.
- "out of memory" / GPU batch errors: close games and other GPU programs,
run fewer miner windows on the same card, or add -batch 4096 to the
end of the zminer-gpu.exe line in start-shard1.bat.
- "CUDA device 1 out of range": DEVICE is too high; the first GPU is 0.
- "login failed": the address is wrong. Use your Shard1 address (1S01...,
42 characters) from the SCDO desktop wallet.
- "pool connection lost ... reconnecting": the miner reconnects by itself.
Check your internet connection or firewall (outgoing TCP port 3341).
- The window shows the error and waits for a key press, so you can read
  it before it closes.
- Self check without mining: zminer-gpu.exe -check 32
Offline speed test: zminer-gpu.exe -bench 30

VERIFY THE DOWNLOAD (SHA256)
----------------------------
Compare with the values in SHA256SUMS.txt on the download page. In
PowerShell:
  Get-FileHash .\zminer-gpu-0.1.3-win64.zip -Algorithm SHA256
or in Command Prompt:
  certutil -hashfile zminer-gpu-0.1.3-win64.zip SHA256
